Quick start

Generate in HDR. Drag workflows/start.json onto the canvas, pick your FLUX.1-dev files in the Loader (see Example workflows for the downloads), and queue. VAE Decode (HDR) is in Direct HDR mode, so the Viewer shows a scene-linear HDR frame; save it with Write as EXR.

Turn an existing image or video into HDR.

1. Read your image, video or sequence.
2. Add SDR → HDR Universal. The defaults are a sensible HDR10 master: Hybrid, 1,000-nit peak, 203-nit reference white. The first run downloads the RUDRA model (about 5 MB).
3. For an EXR, leave output_encoding on Linear and Write EXR. For HDR10 delivery, set it to PQ (HDR10) and Write a 10-bit or higher format.
4. Wire the report output to a preview to see what ran, including whether learned recovery was applied.

Look at HDR properly. Feed any image into the Viewer. It knows what the pixels are (scene-linear, sRGB, PQ, log) and applies the display transform, so nothing is clipped or double-converted on screen.
